Used to enjoy a lunch time pint and a read of the paper until the miserable manager started dimming all the lights so you'd need a torch to read anything. I know a few people who have stopped going. Shame because it could be a decent pub.

Called into this pub as i had heard it had undergone a full refurbishment. Not much to shout about though, far too bright and still looks a bit shabby. The cost looks like it has well and truly being passed onto the customer!! 3 Real ales on tap inc Timothy Taylor which was well kept. The beer is well over £3 pound a pint here. Too dear will not be coming back.

Duke Of Wellington is popular among my family so we are almost always eating here. Lovely food and great service
