very limited menu vast majority of items on menu were either pizzas or burgers. we order a sharing starter and separate main courses. one main course arrived with starter other 5 mins later. there was only one sweet on offer and was told there would be a wait for it. partner asked for a tia maria coffee but was told they did not have that, will the food was nice the organisation was not so will not be back.

Since its major refurbishment, and now under new management, this pub is brilliant. Exactly what Heaton has been crying out for. Amazing selection of craft and international beers on tap and bottled, great atmosphere, and really good food with an open kitchen too. At last!! It attracts a broad range of people, from students to old Heatonians. Really looking forward to spending nice winter evenings here. Top marks, well done guys! Now take my money :)

Hi Everyone my name is Sharon and Im married to Mick and we now run the Hussars and I would like to invite everyone to come along and take a look. We are running a very friendly pub with good beer and a very friendly atmosphere but please dont take my word for it come along and see for yourself.

Keep well away from this apology of a pub. Beer is awful and often runs out. Decor is dreadful and mine host is not the most friendly of people! This pub has seen better days but is now descending into a pit of despair
