The Tyneside Numismatic Society, held our first meeting here on Wednesday night, 9th October 2013, after spending many years at the RAFA Club in Gateshead which sadly closed down.

We had a very warm welcome on our arrival from 'Loxy' and he could not have been any more accommodating or helpful if he tried, and we would like to say a big "thank-you" to him and everyone involved at "The Plough" for making our first night a very successful one.

We look forward to many happy years in our new venue and would hope anyone in the area who collects coins, banknotes or any related banking/numismatic material, will come along to one of our meetings with a view to becoming a member.
