as you walk in the pub does look a little on the nasty side, but don't let that put you off i have had many meals here and the food is the best you can get in Cramlington. the service is quick and the people who cook the food all have a food hygiene rating of either 4 or 5. the food is all fresh and home cooked which is a big thing in my eyes as most pubs buy food in pre cooked and frozen, this is not the case in The Blagdon arms. i also have been there for many drinks and have had great nights.
the staff really nice and very warm and welcoming.

i have had the shares platter, different types of chicken and i have had burgers all great tasting and not greasy at all. my friends who are normally with me when i eat there had a steak and said it was cooked to their liking medium rare is actually medium rare

if you are are not bothered by looks of places and love delicious fresh food and quick service this is the place.

walked in at 3 pm on the 2ND of august only to have to ask for the table to be cleared and still waiting for it to be cleaned. Then told if you hurry and order before 3 pm you'll get your food as they are taking the food off for an hour. why? when it says food from 12pm till 8 pm with a free drink if ordered after 3pm? We left and went else where and had a lovely meal. Will not be going back to this pub as even when we went for a drink the flaming Grolsch was off..........waste of time and effort and still waiting for a reply from the brewery about my complaint. incompetent staff and ordering for such a busy pub......Snowy Owl for me next time when I am visiting up north

Went for lunch with my family. Food and service were dreadful. Took 45 mins for starters to arrive. Worst pub food I've had in ages. Over cooked and very poor quality. Will not be returning again!! Great pub for drinks but don't bother eating here.

Busker night is normally a cracker, should do it more often.
