I enjoy the Jolly Bowman atmosphere and the friendly customer service. Its handy for me and some of my friends because its a local pub from my house and my college.Im a well known regular there and would recommend it for anyone who wants to have a few pints and a good time out in the local. The selection of drinks is good, customer service is top notch,a very nice pool table area, reasonable prices and ive just recently seen them start to have a food menu on the tables (which are always clean).
'Comfortable and friendly estate pub with a large landscaped garden affording views across Battle Hill and Howdon. The range of beers includes fosters, stella and john smiths, with tables under cover outside at the rear. "Lively, unpretentious local." springs to mind, as well as it being delightfully atmospheric, even at its busiest. characterful interior features and smart homely furnishings; add a large spoonful of community spirit and there you have the Jolly Bowman.
