Dined here with my daughter who ordered the Gammon steak. She found a human finger nail cooked in the egg yolk. Obviously neither of us then wanted to eat our meals. The management however refused to refund me for my untouched meal as 'there was only a fingernail in one of the meals'.

I went here for a family reunion and prior to attending we made sure all was well with the owner and told them we would be expecting upwards of 16 people. Although we had a nice time seeing family I wouldn't recommend the venue for any occasion.

I ordered a duck wrap from the sandwich section and it was awful and not to a high standard at all, not to mention it was very small and luckily I'd ordered chips with the wrap or I would have been very hungry, the chips were okay but cold.

The service: They were not very friendly upon bringing us our food and seemed not attentive. I asked for cutlery as I had not been provided with any, my waitress took some other person in our groups cutlery and gave it to me, which I could have done myself she never returned to give the other person fresh cutlery.

We've being going there for 20 years, and the service has always been great and the food uimaginable but palatable. But the owners have changed the menu and what we had this evening was forth rate.

The alleged 'chips' were revolting and for those choosing scampi choices of vegatables were restricted to mushy peas or salad - no garden peas or alternatives.

Our star rating woud be 5/5 for service and 1/5 for food, and we certainly will not go again for a meal.
