Really surprised by earlier reviews as I have ordered pizzas from Leonardo's, both by telephone, and in person, and have never encountered any delay or discourtesy by the staff at all. If the staff are busy they always aknowledge my presence and get to me as soon as possible. Food very good in my opinion(and I have tried several other pizzerias). Always busy so can't be that bad!!!!
Ignorant staff.
Last week I called in to this place to order a take away with my child. There was 3 staff working at the time and no one waiting to be served. All the staff were doing things and I was looking at the menu with my child discussing what to have. After deciding we stood by the counter to be served. A woman walked in and a member of staff went straight to her to take her order of a kebab. We were ignored. The staff member made her kebab, took the money and the woman left. I gestured to order and was ignored. We took our order to another shop.
Thought I'd give them a second chance so I ordered a pizza last night, just one. I was told that it would be with me in 20 mins. After half an hour (10mins grace) I phoned to see what the waiting time would be. There was no answer. I redialled 8 times. Still no answer. I assumed that my pizza had got lost somewhere in the local area so made some toast instead. 30 minutes later my pizza arrived (45 mins after the quoted time!). There was no apology, infact the delivery driver couldn't have been off faster.
The pizza was horrible. I couldn't eat it. Yuck!
My garlic chicken was very nice, not greasy and fully cooked base. (Yes Some winlaton pizza shops serve raw doe)
I will be getting more good from leanardos.
To all customers that are thinking about using this place I can not stress enough how poor the customer service is all though the food was ok but the 30 pound order I made was wrong. When I phoned up to complain about this they then hung up the phone on me 4 times and the manger refused to speak to me or even send me my correct order.... awful customer service skills and management skill... will not be ordering from here again
