Bar Bannatyne was a Moroccan-influenced bar on the ground floor of The Gate entertainment complex in Newcastle city centre, known for draped alcoves, chandeliers, DJ nights, and a late licence. The space is now occupied by Lane7, a multi-activity entertainment venue. Bar Bannatyne is permanently closed.

went in last tues after talking to the bald flyer guy outside, got mashed drinking cheap cocktails before going to the nightclub, was a class night. will be back again
