Popolo

I loved Popolo, a very regular hang out of mine. The drinks and food are great and the atmosphere is unrivaled in Newcastle. Unfortunately, it gets a low star rating because some of the bar staff there are very rude - unfathomably so. The bar is well known and well respected in the city, so I don't think they have much interest in making themselves open to people's comments and criticism - so please excuse me for using this outlet to signal to them that something has to change. Bottom line: it is a great place - for meetings, fun times and food. Their mojitos are awesome. But a handful of the staff there don't seem to think that being polite constitutes good customer service.
