What can I say other than GO AND SEE THIS FILM!.
Sure, it’s not going to challenge anyone mentally, nor is it going to leave you questioning life – but it is great entertainment in the best Chan all action style.
Chan (playing Chon Wang) and on-screen side kick Roy O’Bannon (the brilliant Owen Wilson) whip up a storm as they battle across the planes of Nevada to safe the beautiful Princess Pei Pei (Ally McBeal’s Lucy Lui) from a hideous arranged marriage.
The best thing about this western adventure though, is the obvious enjoyment Chan and Wilson had making it – their chemistry keeps the whole thing ticking along nicely and leaves you feeling all warm and happy!
Lots of stunts and action as you’d expect from the Chan-ster and the usual blend of tomfoolery.
Will Smith and his squillion dollar ‘Wickie Wickie Wile Wile’ abomination should watch and learn!
Oh yes, Chan is still the man.
