I went to bellinis with my family for a birthday occasion on 11/07/2014 there were 7 of us.The service was terrible. The owner had a really bad attitude and was very rude when we asked for a break down of our bill he stated "it's simple everything is £4.50" with a very rude manner when everything wasn't £4.50. It was very unorganised and we felt uncomfortable and we didn't feel welcome. And to top it off 3 of us were ill the next day. I wouldn't even recommend a friend to go there.

An Italian Restaurant with a homely feel, although it is small it is very relaxing with all the decorations and candles. The staff are very friendly and are always friendly, you are never rushed or over seen to. The food is delicious, there is a wide variety, something for everyone. Been there many times and don't have a bad word against it! Overall the place is cozy and the food is delicious!

We almost didnt go when we read these reviews but I am pleased we did. What a quaint and cosy little place. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the food was delicious - best pizza I've had outside of Italy, the service was excellent and our hosts very attentive, I will certainly be returning.

dreadful place, food very poor service even worse, dont complain about the food ie steak overcooked etc or you get menacing looks and remarks from the owner. One of our worst dining experiences to date, diners beware, to be avoided at all costs.

At short notice Bellini accommodated us on Valentines night. This was our first time. It was busy and clearly many regulars present with a good atmosphere.
The sirloin steak and king prawns were well presented and very tasty although not pink as specifically requested. The vegetables were smothered in cheese and while cooked perfectly for texture lacked any meaningful accompaniment to the meal. There was a small crisp and fresh salad in vinaigrette with the main course. The portion of chips were not regular chips but more like wedges.
The Lumpy Bumpy pudding was delicious, one by one the flavours exploded in the mouth.
The Chianti had legs and was reasonable value at £14.

Service was adequate with a smile, not fussy, poor your own wine kind of thing.

Will not be returning to this restaurant again! due to the following reasons. We felt the staff were rushing us throughout our meal. My husband had finished his starter course and they removed his plate along with mine and I wasn't even finished with it! Food potions are small my husband had to closely examine his main course to check that the steak he ordered was actually on the plate under the sauce! they served a small bowl of veg which consisted of 4 half roast potatoes, 7 slices of carrot and a tablespoon of peas between the two of us. We asked for a dessert menu and the waitress reluctantly gave us one but did not return to take our order after 15 Min's so we decided to pay the bill and leave feeling hungry and dissatisfied.

Bellini is a fantastic Italian restaurant in the main part of Rowlands Gill. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in bizarre character and very good food. For some reason there are random flags of the world hanging from the ceiling (my favourite being the Confederacy flag).

On Mondays it's happy hour all night, and so we were given a Happy Hour menu with our main menu. As we all knew what we wanted before we came in (spaghetti carbonara and calzone, as they're amazing at Bellini's), we were happy that these were on the cheap menu. The Happy Hour menu also had a wider range of pizzas and pastas, and everything on it cost around £5.50. We also had a litre bottle of house wine betwen us, which is much better in my view than a normal sized bottle between three people.

The food was excellent as always and the portion sizes generous, and though my parents and I had no trouble finishing our meals it may be too much for some people. We waited a while and then ordered dessert: a hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream for me, and a tiramisu each for my parents. My cake was excellent in every way, and the tiramisu was nice but my mam said that hers was still a bit frozen in the middle. We then finished the meal with three espressos, which were very good and came quickly.

We had an excellent night at Bellini's, and although my parents say that it's not as good as Cafe Vivo in town which they had been to recently, I still think that their carbonara and calzones are unrivalled anywhere else that I've had them. For £44 for two courses, a litre of wine and espresso for three people, it's a fair bargain too! It was fairly quiet as it was a Monday night, but the restaurant is small enough (I reckon there's 15 tables or so) for it to feel comfortably quiet rather than lonely and awkward as it can in some larger restaurants. I'd strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone finding themselves in the Rowlands Gill area looking for Italian food in an unusual setting.
