Atonement is Ian McEwan's best novel in my opinion and the adaptation to the big screen doesn't disappoint (which I find rare). There are some genuinely funny and equally tender scenes mixed with a few 'lump in your throat' / 'I've got something in my eye' moments.

Thoroughly recommended!

Atonement was amazing. I've read the book and I have to say that it was a really good adaptation. Keira was great as well, as usual!
