I really enjoyed this film, especially from the view of a comic lover. Predictability eventually kicked in toward the end, and the quick passes between scenes were a little numbing at times. However, overall a great movie. Well done Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead!

Shame I couldn't give it 'zero' stars'...bored bored bored throughout. I don't give a fig about adherence to source material, it was dull, emo centric, wet and dull as a confused teenager wondering why they have been dumped. I cannot understand how people found it witty and clever as there was not a single gag in it. The lead male was so freaking weak I wondered when his voice would break. The lead female went from Uber strong to simpering girl - so disappointing. BTW - WTF was all the Vegan stuff about - weak weak weak.

I am pleased this bombed at the box office so that all future projects like this never see the light of day.

Aaaargh
