Been here a lot in recent years and always found the food very good but on the last couple of occasions it has been appalling. We were served last Saturday early evening by an unpleasant barmaid with no manners what so ever and were served food nearly an hour after ordering that I wouldn't give to the dog. Will certainly be giving the New Crown a very wide berth in future. Plenty of other nice pubs that serve good food in the area.

I go down there with me mates and have a few beers and play pool at the weekends, great place to have down the road.
