I visited chutneys after a friend recommended the restaurant.

It was gorgeous, and will definitely being dining there again. The staff were very friendly, and were very attentive.

I had a salmon dish, from the chefs specials. brilliant, they cooked it in milder spices for me.

The chunks of fish, the sauce and full cloves of garlic, were a divine combination.

Enjoyed it very much,kids are welcome too. Just a bit disappointed i didn't leave enough room to try a dessert!!!

Great food, great surroundings and execeptional friendly staff, nothing is ever to much bother, catering for dietrey needs and fussy eaters. Real quality food, being able to taste all the flavours not just heat, and its not heavy and greasey like some. 1st class all round.

My favourite restaurant - exceptional food, good beer, top service - can't recommend highly enough. I've been to this restaurant with my wife more than a dozen times - and it has been brilliant every time. Prices are very reasonable (particularly when compared to some very expensive restaurants in Newcastle). Try it out - you won't be disappointed !
