The Red Rooms is more of a blank canvas than a 'club' a no nonsense social club feel which has a wide variety of club nights given the posters on the wall.

Having made the trip from Washington to a monthly retro Indie Night called Disco Down last friday night the venue very much suited the music played, giving it the feel of a gritty indie club from the late 1990's.

A cracking night all round, a shame its only monthly, sort it out lads! The venue is a little hard to find... its on the first Side Street on Grey Street down from the Monument, put a map on your flyer!!!

Good music but they kick you out if there is not enough money at the bar. No refund for the 6 quid entry and the manager made a sharp exit pretending that he wasn't in charge.

Slimey, sleazy, dishonest and taking advantage of people paying good money to have a good time.

Club closed at 01.30 depsite the club being advertised as closing at 3 am!

I'm a regular @ REVENGE and find it easily the best club in town. Every Saturday night they play a cool mix of tunes from the obvious to the leftfield to the forgotten classic. You'll hear owt from indie to electro to hip hop and they don't mind the odd ironic tune either. It's cool but there's still a good atmosphere with people definitely getting into it.
