Blue Bell Inn

New manager,with not a very nice attitude.Went for a meal last night,a party of eight.Told when booking that ther was a band on at 9.pm but wouldn't affect us as they would be set up in the bar area.We ordered our starters and main meals, to be told later that they only had two 12oz steaks, and we had ordered three.When the main course arrived they didn't look very appetising,just a steak chips and a tomato.One steak was so rare done he couldn't eat it.Nothing had any taste.Shortly after our plates had been cleared the manager came and asked if we would mind moving so the band could set up, we explained that we had ordered deserts,and were waiting for them,he appologised and said he thought we were finished.While eating the deserts we were aware of been watched by other customers,waiting for us to finish so we could be moved. Still having not finished our drinks off the manager returned again to ask if we could move.As we moved two you lads came and sat down with a glass of coke each,preparing for the band.We were not happy to of been treat like this, after all our bill came to £176,much more than what would of been spent on glasses of coke.We wern't even offered another table to move too.The only good thing I can say is that the waitress, was very plesant and appologised, for the way he had rushed us and wanted us out of the way.This is a pub we used to go to quite often, but we will not be returning ever again.
