The Duke is a great venue for bands. The bar staff are really nice, they serve in turn where some venues in Washington leave women standing at the bar for ages and the drinks are cheap, with a great range of cocktails at £12 for two big jugs.
There's a great atmosphere and never any trouble.
All in all, a great night out.
I love the garden at the Duke of Albany, its superb in the summer so tranquil and perfect for enjoying a ice cold pint.
