Went there Sunday evening for a meal for son's birthday at approximately 8pm. The pub was full of customers, we managed to find a table for four at the back of the pub and ordered our meal. We noticed a group of people beside us who were talking very loudly, using obscene language, shouting at each other during normal conversation. We carried on trying to eat our meal, but could not hear each other, due to their noise. The foul language was disgraceful, especially from one of the female customers. We sat there until 9.30 pm until I went to complain. I spoke to one of the bar staff and asked if the manager was there. I asked to complain about the level of noise and foul language coming from the group next to us. He was sympathetic and apologised and said he would speak with the manager. I returned to my seat and one of the bar staff confronted the group, asking them to keep the noise down. My son turned around and said "it's about time". I also said the same. Then we were subjected to abuse from the group. My son began arguing back with the customers and a row ensued. One of the customers then came around, to where my son was sitting and assaulted him by punching him in the face. This occurred in front of the manager and bar manager as well as myself and family. The police were called. Upon arriving, the manager and bar manager changed their story and said they had received no complaints throughout the course of the evening, and denied having witnessed an assault. I would never recommend anyone to go to this pub, as the management seem to have no control over any rowdy element. My disabled son could not understand what was going on and did not get the chance to finish his meal on his birthday, which is appalling.

I went there today, and I am deeply unsatisfied. I ordered my food and it took 30 - 40 minutes for it to arrive. First, they took one meal to the wrong table. Then my partner had his meal for around 6 - 8 minutes before I got mine. I asked for mine without certain things on. It arrived with the things on, I got the complete wrong order, everything I asked for was totally different to what I got. They didn't even apologise when they had got it wrong. The chicken was very dry and over cooked. Overall it wasn't a very good experience and I won't be going back.
