Ive lived in the North East on and off for the last 10 years but only recently discovered this little gem with my Girlfriend and now its our special drinking place where we like to sit and watch the ships go by whilst having a nice drink. The staff are very friendly and polite and although we have never eaten there yet, ive heard the food is really good. I work away a lot at the moment in the middle east but one of my first stops when i get home will be The Earl Of Zetland. It sums up everything i miss about the North East.
a quality location to have a pint and breathe in the good old fresh sea air.many memories having a drink with my dad are in this venue and i will be going back with my 3 year old niece 1 day.fantastic food and drinks with their prices ranges.its another 1 of my locals.

Good pub where you have a decent beer served by friendly staff.
After hiring a function room, last year, for an 80th Birthday party, all I can say is that the Earl of Zetland and its staff, provide fantastic food, and service. They went out of their way to provide every single thing we could possibly want.
So whether you want to arrange a family party, a meeting, or just pop in for a quick coffee, I can recommend the Earl ..
