I went in recently on a week day evening. It was quiet but all the tables were full. I was given a bottled beer menu by a helpful member of staff who told me there were too many when I asked what they had. He was right. He was really happy to talk about all the beers they sell. I had an American Beer, Anchor Porter, which wasn't too expensive and delicious. But they have about 80 beers from all around the world and plenty on draught too, including half a dozen real ales on hand pull.
I didn't eat anything but someone brought a burger out which looked really good (and big) with chips. I looked at the menu and it only cost £5. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced for a City Centre pub near the Academy. They are serving food until 8pm, not 5pm like this site says. I will be visiting there again the next time I go to the o2 Academy. Or maybe I'll just come here again. highly recommended. What a little gem.
Just had a great family sunday lunch. Great tasting food, the largest and tastiest yorkshire pud I've had in ages. Forget about these stack em high eat as much as you want eateries. Tillys is top quality grub. I went for main meal and a dessert, the dessert nearly finished me off. Next time and there definitely will be a next time, I'll stick with the main meal. Only a limited choice of two roasts, beef or chicken and two desserts.
