A nice busy but non intrusive atmosphere accompanied by very nice food. Service wasn't pushy which is quite rare these days but the toilets could do with an overhaul, and it's a shame that the management don't see the importance of first impressions, the slated ground area to the left of the entrance was very littered, just needs a good tidy up.

The food was really nice and didn't have to wait long either.. The service was good, staff are nice and friendly and make you feel very welcome. This is definitely a favourite restaurant of mine and would not hesitate to go back. 10/10

Have been a number of times with different groups. Last night 9 of us went for daughters 15th birthday. Decor is quirky, service is attentive without being overbearing. Starters are a good size, I had the mixed tandoori meat selection which was gorgeous followed by Narawari Khana (lamb in 21 spices) and onion Pilau. We had 8 different main courses and everyone was very satisfied. Price for 9 including 2 rounds of drinks was £151 which was very reasonable considering we also had 2 poppadoms each , selection of pickles and 6 naan breads - Peshwari and Garlic.
Lights were dimmed and music played for our daughters birthday cake being brought through and a "congratulations" helium balloon had greeted us on the table - all nice touches given how busy the restaurant is. Very helpful staff.
Would give 5 stars if the lobby was less congested with people waiting for takeaways and the car park area was more welcoming.

I can't stress enough just how amazing both the food and staff are at Solomon's. Friendly warm atmosphere with staff equally so. I enjoy it so much I eat there several times a week and some weeks almost every night (that's how good it is!) I recommend you try Solomons for yourself for a dinning experience you will return for. See you there. Wendy Mitchinson

So where did it go wrong to get only 3 stars?
