We went for a birthday meal, 6 people. It took over 3 hours for us to be service a 3 course meal and that wasn't us sitting talking it the time it took for our food to come and for our orders to be taken. They offered a 20% off the next time we go! Mmmmm no I don't think so. We wont be given them another penny. I had heard bad reviews about Sonny's but though no itll be ok. Next time I will take not of the reviews. They blamed the slow service on training up a new person. Well don't train them up on a busy Saturday night and I'm sure there was more than 1 person serving! There are plenty of other places in Tynemouth where you will get much better service.
