We visited this pub today for lunch and were horrified with the food served to us. I had garlic mushrooms on toast, which turned out to be cold mushrooms on half a stale brown submarine roll, with no hint of garlic. My friend had onion bhaji with a dip, this was a frozen party size bhaji, one mouth full size with some diced cucumber. We ordered a rump steak for our main, it came with chips and 2 insipid very sad looking onion rings, the amount of grease that was swimming around the plate and was beginning to solidify was absolutely disgusting, we did not even attempt to eat anything, returned the two meals to the bar, paid for our drinks and left, never ever to return under any circumstances
