Had an amazing day at Fratello's for Mother's Day - the special menu created was lovely and I was even given a mother's day cupcake made by the Fratello's own chef!Normally go on a sunday anyway as they do gorgeous sunday dinners.Staff are lovely and friendly, food not that expensive but is good quality. There is a new bar opened next door called Zio so we stayed in there for a few hours and sat on the terrace in the sun - very enjoyable day out!Well Done Fratello's!xxx

Advertising as an authentic italian restaurant and not a lasagne or cannelloni in sight, a restaurant manager who just smiles, nods and shows his teeth, a chef with a black eye, cauliflower ear no teeth blowing his nose into the palm of his hand and hollering ALLRET MATE to my bemusement and others you start to hear alarm bells ringing so i chose to avoid the pizzas from the chef who sounded and resembled sloth from the goonies and opted from the daily menu the scallop dish was like a work off art i was reluctant to eat this eye watering masterpiece and did it taste as good as it looked!! perfection... perfectly cooked scallops creamy celeriac puree with a hint of truffle perfectly seasoned and crunchy pancetta crisps it was faultless, the main course of char-grilled pork, black pudding dumplings, herb creamed potato, quails egg and me-aux mustard cream sauce this chef can cook the seasoning the textures was a marriage made in heaven finished with the dark chocolate truffle with clotted cream and warm black cherries and the constant sound of sloth moaning everytime a pizza was ordered in the background it was a very pleasurable evening ill definately make a return to fratellos but sloth has to go
