Had a really good time in Whitley Bay and this was probably the best club/pub we went in for music and atmosphere but it did get rather warm when it was packed with people.
Could do with investing in some minor air conditioning. Yes we all know that if you're hot you're thirsty but we ended up walking out sooner than we wanted to really. So doesn't necessary work that way all the time.
Still great place to hang out though.
It's Whitley Bay, it's a weekend night, so it's more cheeeeeeese. Not a bad place all said and done, providing it's busy (10pm to 11.30pm friday and Saturday). If you've been in more than twice you'll know what songs coming on next - Meatloaf, Queen, The Monkees, that sort of thing. Is there no market for the Stone Roses or The Smiths (I think I know the banswer to that question). A bar that does exactly what it says on the tin - good fun.
