I'm not from Newcastle and so this was my first visit. I think this bar must have recently changed as it was advertised as a 'Pizza Bar', which is different to other 'standard pub' reviews I've read.
I chose to eat here due to the interesting variety of vegetarian options. Places which sell unique and well priced vegetarian food are few and far between!
I was very impressed with this place, they make their own fresh pizza dough, and it really showed in the food. I had a flat bread which was full of flavour and really fresh. Very far from regular microwaved/fried pub food, but with similar prices!
Some of the seats have their own TV screens, which is a nice touch, especially for sports fans who go to watch matches.
This place was one of my highlights of my trip to Newcastle, I would recommend it to everyone and would definitely go again!
I know this is supposed to be Ant and Decs bar but it just feels like allot of other mass produced bars. Nothing particularly striking about the place. If you like a bar with character then don't choose this one. The one thing this place has going for it is its location to other bars so if you are inclined to crawl from pub to pub then you might stop here. The food is nothing special either.
