Good valued Sunday lunch, piping hot. Down side landlady very brash and when challenge denied she had ever spoken to me. Not the type of service you expect.
I went to The White Horse for my birthday with my friends Wed 27/02/13 and was so disappointed wth the service. Meal was not too bad as was very cheap 2 Steaks and a bottle of wine for £9.95 but when finished meal the member of staff came over and said 'are you done?' and removed the plates except one with onion rings on We sat another 15 mins and were never asked if we wanted desserts so a young lad came out of the kitchen and switched lights off and we asked him and had to get the chef back into kitchen to get deserts for us We found it very unfriendly They need to carry out some training with their staff or is it because we were strangers there! Disappointed birthday meal
A few of us came here recently & had a really nice meal, it was served quickly & wasnt over priced.
