MY GOD this bar has got to be the worst bar in tyne and wear! my girls and i visited Newcastle for a birthday party, however we chose to have a light snack before our night out, toilets are horrible and dirty! food was disgusting and cold by the time we received it! my friend found a hair in her food!! we just wanted to leave after that and u know what we did!
We visited this bar on Friday and Saturday 24th&25th Feb. Its was Brilliant!! There was 15 of us blokes on our first visit to Newcastle and we came across this bar by chance. We ate there on Friday and it was the best bar food I have had in a long time. We went in for one drink on Saturday night and ended up staying for the whole night as the bar was full,it played great music and there was loads of WOMEN!! Thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome. See you next time we are up Newcastle. Gareth
went in for a quick lunch with friends and DID NOT ENJOY the food , was rubbish full of oil and not so fresh at all.
Visited Alvinos Saturday December Third 2011.
Great drinks, Great prices. Great atmosphere and music
Bar staff were fantastic, a couple of the girls working were VERY attractive and VERY flirtatious which made my visit to Newcastle from Colorado much more enjoyable.

Highly recommend visiting
dirty dirty bar with rude staff , coffees are not as good as they used to be! and the pricing of food is ridiculous. the disabled toilet is full of cleaning equipment and my mother had difficulty using it. i do not recommend this bar to decent people out there!
A cracking new bar in a new and exciting area of town. I had the misfortune to soil myself in this establishment recently and would like to take this opportunity to apologise to the cleaning staff for leaving my boxers in the gents toilets! However I was wondering if you've washed them yet and if so could I have them back as they were quite new? A word of advice if visiting (the also excellent and very popular!) nearby restaurant 'blue Coyote' - best to avoid the chili beef nachos for your starter. P. S. I am 37 years old
Fantastic new bar for Newcastle. A true independent. Lovely interior, great first floor terrace and brilliant cocktail and beer selection.
