This pub is well worth a visit during the week, or in the evening, but unless you enjoy adventure playgrounds with screaming,unsupervised kids, avoid weekends.
The pub grub is excellent, with pleasant, welcoming bar staff, and the beer is well-kept. Such a shame so many pubs aren't run exclusively for the benefit of grown-ups any more..

Such a super pub with everything that a good pub should have, nice food, friendly service and lots to keep the kids entertained.
