Fantastic food, excellent night out! It was my first time to Kublai Khan and the staff were very friendly and they explained to us how the buffet works.
The chinese buffet had a wide variety of chinese dishes. They have soups, starter dishes and main courses, all of excellent quality.
The buffet caters for both vegetarians and meat lovers too. The mongolian buffet is what sets this restaurant apart. It lets you customise your on meal.
You chose from a wide range of freshly prepared raw ingredients set out in a buffet. You pick all the veggies, meats and seafood (they even offer shark steak!) that you want in your meal. You then pick a sauce (they range from plain to very spicy).
You have a choice of fried rice, noodles or vemecelli to accompany your meal and then your meal is cooked for you my the chef in the Mongolian kitchen. You can watch him cook you meal if you want.
Once it is done, your meal is sent to the table. The price is for BOTH buffets and you can EAT as MUCH as you like.
The price is really reasonable. It is real VALUE FOR MONEY considering the quality and variety of foods avliable. Real worth a try!
I thought there was a really interesting range of food here and my husband and I enjoyed our meals.
