We try to visit the Rising Sun once a week, normally Friday evenings, to eat out then listen to the live music.The current Chef, Michelin trained, provides an excellent menu from Venison to Bangers and Mash. Chef is very friendly too. The service from the waiter is quick, efficient and he knows his stuff too....obviously sampling the menu which gives an honest opinion on the food. Two can eat a good quality meal for under £20.There is a separate area in the bar for eating as well as a conservatory.The live music is 'normally' good but hey ho.....everyone has their own tastes in music!!!Definitely worth a visit. from 'a fussy female'!
